How it works
We are a connection service, not an electrical contractor. This page explains exactly what that means, including the part about how we get paid.
The sequence

You call and describe the situation
No form to complete first, no account, no waiting for a callback. Tell us what is happening: a breaker that keeps tripping, a panel that needs upgrading, a charger you want installed.
- Step 02
We check coverage for your address
We confirm your ZIP code is one an electrician in the network actually serves. If it is not, we tell you straight away rather than taking your details.
- Step 03
We connect you to a local electrician
Your call is routed to an independent licensed electrician covering your area. For urgent situations we route to someone who takes emergency work.
- Step 04
You deal with them directly
They assess the job, quote it, schedule it, and carry it out. Pricing, timing, warranty, and any follow-up are all between you and them.

What we check
before an electrician joins
We use the word vetted, so we should say what it means. These are the checks, and they happen before any work is routed.

License verification
We confirm the electrician holds a valid license in the state where the work will be performed, using the relevant state licensing board record.

Insurance verification
We confirm current general liability coverage before an electrician can receive work through the network.

Service area confirmation
We confirm the ZIP codes each electrician actually serves, so the areas listed on this site reflect real availability.

Ongoing review
We track complaints and customer feedback, and remove electricians from the network when standards are not met.
Vetting reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and we will not pretend otherwise. You should still confirm the license number, ask for proof of insurance, and get the scope and price in writing before work begins on anything substantial.

service works
Anything else, just ask when you call. We cover all 50 states.

We may receive a referral fee from participating electricians. That is our entire business model, and we would rather say so directly. It does not add anything to what you pay. The electrician quotes you their price for the work, and our arrangement with them does not change it.
Do you take a cut of the job?
We are not party to the contract between you and the electrician. We do not handle payment, hold deposits, or take a percentage of the invoice. You pay the electrician directly for the work they do.
What if something goes wrong with the work?
The electrician is responsible for the work they perform and for their own warranty. We did not do the work, so we cannot warrant it. What we can do is remove electricians from the network when we receive credible complaints, and we do. If you have a problem, tell us as well as them.
Will I be contacted by lots of companies?
No. We are not a lead-selling marketplace that distributes your details to several contractors who then compete for your attention. We connect you with one electrician covering your area.
Can I choose my electrician?
We route based on who covers your ZIP code and who handles the type of work you need. You are of course free to decline a quote and call us again, and free to get other quotes independently. On larger jobs we would encourage that.
